Car Show Registration is owned and run by Operations Support (Software) Limited based in Cranleigh, Surrey.
Development work has been carried out by Nigel West, who has been writing computer software since 1977 at the age of 14. Starting with BASIC programming run on the Open University mainframe computer via an acoustic modem to a Teletype, Nigel worked on Honeywell and IBM mainframes before moving to the PC world, writing a variety of desktop and web based applications, including Restoration Manager, which was featured in a Practical Classics magazine CD-ROM in December 2005.
The car show registration system was originally written to help the Cranleigh & District Lions Club (of which Nigel is a member) with the increasing number of postal registrations for their Classic Car Show and Autojumble in August each year. The system has run successfully since 2010 and has seen registrations increase from 800 to over 1,600 in 2012.
Following a successful beta test in 2013,
Car Show Registration will be available in Spring 2014
